GRANDPARENTS' DAY!!!

We had a WONDERFUL time with Grandparents, cousins, and special friends. Thank you again to my classroom volunteers...I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for all of the drinks, food, and snack donations as well. You guys are the coolest group of parents!

Our class got to sing "The Victory Chant" with Mrs. Racusin's class. They did such a great job. Our kids also recited James 1: 22-25 and Romans 12:9-12. I was a proud teacher that morning:)

 

 

At the very end, there was a finale with all of the K-5 kids singing together. It was beautiful to hear the children praising the Lord in unison!

When all of our guests arrived to our classroom, we surprised them by singing "Jesus Loves Me" in Japanese. We also took turns answering some questions like, "What is your favorite thing to do here at school?"

 

 

 Next, we were dismissed to go to the 3 stations of rotations. We had a craft table where we painted a fall leaf container.

 

 

We also had a cupcake decorating table, which was the kids' favorite, of course!

 

 

 

There was also an activity table with puzzles, tic-tac-toe, and hangman. They really wanted to beat their grandparents!

 



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We ended the day with a special prayer time thanking Jesus for our grandparents, cousins, and friends. We are blessed to be surrounded by such loving people in our lives.
